New Year Reboot

Been a bit since my last post (and I think I forgot to put the link for the last one on facebook anyway), so here's a random assortment of what I've been getting up to!
The first real whole week of school was pretty long for me as I now have three more private tutoring sessions going. I'm not sure if I'll keep them all, as it can get pretty exhausting, but for now they are going well and I like the kids. And it's nice to have extra cash in my pocket every week.
Last weekend I went to see a friend of mine play a concert with his band and also to hang out with friends after we'd all gotten back from break. It was good to see everyone again after they'd all been home for so long! The band was a little louder than I like my music, but it was a good time nonetheless.
Since then, I've finished reading the Picture of Dorian Gray and I also read The Book Thief in a solid 26 hours, including sleeping and working. I've decided I need to read it again more slowly to really get everything, but that is definitely one of those books that is too easy to speed through. It's an amazing read.
Last night I went out with my roommate BegoƱa and her friend Maurice and we were going to watch the Book Thief but the theatre was full, so we ended up watching 12 Years A Slave. That was certainly depressing, but it was really well filmed and beautiful. Today I met Sam, Hannah, Steve, Melanie, and Julie at Domino's for pizza (we're just that classy) and then we walked to the Bellas Artes theatre/museum to hang out on the terrace and enjoy a phenomenal view of the city. Even though it's January and it was cold, it was beautiful, sunny, and nice.
Some views of the city.
I mean look at that sky!
And here's a group shot.

So hopefully this will suffice because I really haven't done too much since I last posted. Hope everyone is having a great new year so far!
